Soup Dragon left this review about Builders Arms

A plain, featureless, white rendered corner pub, comprising of three buildings of different heights.

The interior seems to have been refurbished reasonably recently and is modernish, in white and red. There are comfy chairs and pouffes, several Sky TVs and a pool table. There wasn't much on the walls, giving the interior a slight bare appearance. The interior is open plan around a central bar. Service was fine, other than a mix-up with the drinks and the clientele mixed and it was reasonably busy.

Beer; tap stuff, with Ansells MILD and bitter on the handpull.

Funny thing is my mate ordered MILD, i thought he ordered bitter and it transpired that the guy behing the bar got confused and poured us a 'half and half'; a conclusion we reached after holding an inquest on the taste! Still decent though, no complaints

I would go back to the place simply for the Ansells beers.
