A large, and by the looks of it, a popular pub. Open plan inside meaning one large barn-like room and approximately 400 tellies dotted around the place. The there were a couple of real ales on, though not too adventurous stuff with them being Hobgob and Marston's Bitter being on on my visit. Typical town centre boozer.

This is a nassive pub, it looks good from the oustside and the inside is nicely decorated as well. What a shame about the clientele, who were loud, sweary, stupid and rough as robbers dogs during our Monday lunchtime visit. The pub opens at 10 and some of these had definitely been in since 10:01! The barman wasn't helping by shouting back at some of the idiots. There are loads of TVs everywhere and they were showing different channels. Two rel ales on the bar, both from the Marston's stable. I had a pint of Hobgoblin which was in decent nick and was even cheaper than the nearby Wetherspoons. I suspect that explains the clientele. Won't ever be visiting this one again.

The Blue Bell is a large pub situated in a prominent position in the middle of Chesterfield.
When i first went in this pub it was a Mansfield tied house with a couple of rooms and no real ales on the bar.

Once inside the pub now has one single room which is curved like the pubs frontage, the bar faces.
The pub was so busy on my late Saturday afternoon visit i could not see round the place properly, there were three real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Hobgoblin which was a decent enough drink, the other beer said Elbow on its clip,i could not see what was on the third pump because the bar was so busy.
This seems a decent enough pub,i would have enjoyed my visit more if it was less busy than it was.
