Blue Scrumpy left this review about Huntsman Inn

The Huntsman was the starting point for a midweek crawl of Shropshire pubs for me. It is the only pub in the village of Little Wenlock.

I didn't get any further than the first table next to the door. With a focus on food, all tables apart from the 2 in the bar area were booked for diners. So, I was glad to secure a seat.

The young barmaids seemed friendly, yet professional. Huntsman Ale from the local Ruddles brewery is the house beer. The 3 guests on were Wye Valley HPA, Hobson's Town Crier & Rowton Ironbridge Gold.

Hotel, restaurant and Bar. Looks like its had quite a make over recently as it was beautifully appointed. We went in the Walkers Bar. I ordered a pint of Down the Dragon from Greene King. And it was fowl. I am never sure with strange beers but surely the chocolate and chilli afternotes could not have left it tasting like vinegar. Unsure what to do, my mrs said I should take it back. I did and it was changed for a TT Landlord with no fuss. Which was perfect. Food was great, as was the service = so all in all, recommended.
