Oggwyn Great left this review about Horseshoe Inn

Decent food led pub on the former A5(now bypassed) halfway between Shrewsbury and Wellington(both 6 miles)and handy for the local attractions of Attingham Park and Wroxeter Roman City , there are two large carparks and two beer gardens with views over the Wrekin Shropshires most iconic landmark . The bar area ,entered through the side entrance , is long and low (mind your head if your 6 foot +) , a snug to the left with an assortment of leather seats and a small area with tables wooden chairs and a bookcase to the left , down a few steps to the main bar area , the bar is to the left with seating to the right and a large inglenook fireplace with a woodburner straight ahead , none of the furniture matches , there are leather seats , comfy chairs and an assortment of wooden chairs and stools which all adds to the charm , past the fireplace is the main dining area and a large conservatory . The staff were very friendly and welcoming as were the locals . Usual tap stuff with 3 handpulls , Hobsons Bitter , Salopian Treasure Trove and Purple Moose Dark Side of the Moose (beers are constantly changing , mostly local) I had the Salopian and Purple Moose , both very good . Overall a pretty good pub well worth a visit if your in the area
