Blue Scrumpy left this review about Mytton Arms

You approach this pub down some fairly remote country lanes. It is surprising to suddenly stumble upon it.

There are 3 small adjoining rooms, 2 at the front and 1 at the rear. The one-way system has an exit through an outdoor drinking area at the rear. But it was too cold for that.

Three Tuns XXX is the regular beer. Guest ales were Bowland Boxer Blonde, Monty's Old Jailhouse & Jack's Mytton Ale. But I enquired about real cider and the friendly barmaid located a small bag of local cider on the bar. It didn't have a label. But I was reliably informed that it was produced locally by John Cruck. It would have been rude not to have given it a go. The ABV was 7 or 8 something!

The best of the 10 pubs I visited in the county of Shropshire, this is a fantastic local that is well worth the effort getting to.

Rural pub right out in the sticks down narrow country lanes .
There are two rooms to the front served by the same long bar , four real ales on from Hobsons and Three Tuns , my Three Tuns XXX was very good .
Suprisingly no food is served unusual in this type of pub .
Another good pub in the South Shropshire Hills .
