Colin Walker left this review about Newbridge Inn

This inn was founded in 1683, but this present building dates from 1895 and is a category C (S) listed building. It was formely on the main route from Edinburgh to Glasgow before the A89 bypassed the village less the 200 yards north. The place has an L-shaped bar where a reasonable choice of whiskies are available. There is plenty of seating at the bar and surrounding area. The lounge to one side is where there is also plenty of seating is where meals can be purchased from bar meals to very good quality meals away from the burger on a bun type. A good place for a quiet stop over, considering the industrial areas about and the airport a few miles up the road.
