Montpeliers is a bar and brasserie with exposed brick pillars down the centre that separate the bar area to the right and the dining area down the left. The bar supports a premium keg range alongside Beavertown Neck Oil and a lone handpump sits unused. I didn’t eat, but did note that the Scottish steak burger is priced at £16. There’s no problem going in here for just a beer, but I’m not sure I would again because it does feel more restaurant.

This pub when opened in the 1970's was called 'The Falcon' before being sold on in the 1990's and being renamed 'Montpeliers Bar & Brasserie'
