The pub doesn't seem to have changed too much since Trainmans visit 11 years ago apart from the fact there was no sign of a farm shop, it would appear the concept didn't work. The pub is opened out into several areas mostly aimed at dining with the central bar area more of a drinking place. The floor is a mix (mish-mash) of flagstone, tile , carpet and laminate wood, walls are of white plaster and exposed brick, seating was normal stuff. Four handpumps on the bar with a choice of St Austell Tribute or Cornish Best, one pump was reserved for Cornish Orchard Wassail Mulled Cider leaving one blank, mostly premium Lagers on tap but I did notice keg Proper Job available. The pub is maybe a handy roadside stop off but I didn't find it to be anything particularly special.

WJ King Horsham Best & Winter's T'Ale (halfpt £1.55). Stone, flag, & wood flooring, some old beams, hop decorated. Deli & farm shop in room to right of bar, quite large dining area opp end and seemingly aiming for that market. Interim open lounge had sofas, and more bar space was given to the coffee machine than the beer pumps, hmmm.
