Following redevelopment this is the only bit of Old Hadley left in the centre , the pub itself is pretty run down , the main bar is tidy enough but the pool room to the rear is pretty bare .
The pub is a free house but no ales , not many kegs either , Carling , Worthington and Brew X1 plus Stowford Press , Guiness comes in cans as does Red Stripe .
The pub is popular with the local West Indian community but as the previous review points out you do get a lot of missfits in here .

Large pub in Hadley centre , no cask ales on just Carling/Worthy etc , bar very busy , there is a small lounge and beer garden plus another lounge at the back which is huge though rarely open . The landlady is friendly and has been here years , locals appear to be a bunch of misfits although its much better now than when the pub was a centre for the local drugs trade .
