Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Peacehaven

Now a Stonehouse 'Pizza & Carvery' establishment, with no mention of pub or bar on any of the new signage, but it isn't just a restaurant. The semi-modern interior has been refurbished in a typically anonymous style, but the easternmost extremity is less formal and available to those just looking for a drink. There are also some patio tables at this end. Three handpumps on the counter, although only the ubiquitous Harvey's (£3.45) was actually available (with the Doom Bar 'sadly' not on).

Steve C left this review about The Peacehaven

The Peacehaven is a Crown Carveries pub so expect cheap booze and very cheap food which is served until 21:30 every evening. The opening hours are standard except for Sundays when the pub opens an hour early at 11:00. We visited with my nipper on Wednesday afternoon and decided to take advantage of the carvery for a spot of lunch and two roast beef dinners, a pint of Guinness and a large coke set me back £11.30. I’ve had better meals, but I can understand why this large pub was very busy with pensioners as the meals are probably cheaper to buy here than to cook at home. The bar supports three hand pumps that were drawing Harveys Best and Greene King IPA (x2) and the usual draught products were also available alongside San Miguel. I found the service at the bar to be friendly enough and one of the waitresses actually came and asked us if we were enjoying our meals. The pub itself is very long with the bar on the left hand wall and the carvery area at the rear. The seating is crammed in and we were sitting at table number 88 that was about three quarters of the way down the pub. There is a pool table by the entrance along with a plasma screen that was turned off. I didn’t spot any signs of Sky Sports which was no surprised. Outside there are some picnic tables in between the pub and the large car park and there are some more picnic tables at the other end of the pub, but there are no coastal views from any of the outside seating.

This is certainly not a place that I would actively seek out for a few pints, but as a cheap place to fill the stomach it fits the bill and I would have no problem eating here again.
