A plaque at the door suggests this pub is owned by Enterprise. If that is the case, they should hang their corporate heads even further in shame than they do anyway, as it's clear the PUBCO takes no interest whatsoever in this pub’s appearance or operation. It's a mid terrace pub on a busy road, very grubby inside, no real ale, and no entertainment, just fog and filthy air. Ordinarily, I would consider the absence of gaming machines and a jukebox as a plus, but here it just felt uncomfortable. On entering the single bar, with its dated décor, we were greeted by two very special elderly ladies (the third, presumably, still stirring a cauldron somewhere). There really is nothing to recommend this place and I would not wish to come back, in thunder, lightning or in rain. No hurly-burly, and this particular Battle does already appear to be lost. We three shall not meet again ere the set of this pub's sun.
