A rare example of a Sam Smith's village pub reopening after a 5 year closure, thanks to a local couple. This is a lovely 2-roomer with many features dating back to the 1930s, although the building itself is much older. The public bar in particular has some smart leaded windows and a period fireplace, with lots of shiny woodwork and leather. Just OBB on draught of course, and subject to the usual Humphrey vagaries, but an absolute classic pub.
