Stubby T shaped brown and mushroom interior with a lovely dark wood and mirrored bar back. Two pumps which were obscured by a board advertising shots in front of them. Assuming this was a sign that they were off, I nevertheless persevered and did ask – it turned-out that the Hoppy Ness was on; inevitably, with nobody else being able to see it to drink it, it was rank - warm flabby shite served-up in a Heineken glass (NBSS 1.5). Deciding I’d seen enough I dumped it after a sip, cursing the pub as I headed out into the cold night.
