Malden man left this review about The Slug & Lettuce
A large and bland modern bar in an area of similar premises close to the riverside. Really not my cup of tea with music blaring making conversation impossible, but the place was packed, mainly with a younger crowd, many drinking strangely coloured cocktails. They do carry one real ale, Bombardier which was in passable condition. As I say, not my scene but clearly popular with what I took to be its target market.
