Once upon a time, this was a pub called the Belmont. No longer, today it's a...well I don't really know what it is. A room with some exposed ductwork, a red and black colour scheme, spartan furnishings and three jukeboxes, none of which appear to actually be connected. Music is too loud and illumination comes from industrial bulkhead lighting; the whole is geared towards a young crowd with an emphasis on vertical drinking.
Ales: one unused pump then something called Joe's Pale Ale, a low ABV drink which is probably generic. It didn't taste of much and was served in a plastic 'glass'.
I can't see much by way of reason to return.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Joe's

Calls itself a 'Drinks & Dance' joint, with different retro music styles on different nights (ranging from 50s jump blues, northern soul, ska, rockability and old-fasioned rock 'n' roll). Plain facade, and limited decor inside the sparsely-furnished staple-shaped bar. DJ decks in the front corner. No admission charge before 11 pm. Drinks served in ploycarbonate 'glasses'. Two handpumps, offering Joe's Pale Ale and Burrow Hill Farm Pressed cider (6.0%, £1.90 for a half). Overall, I only popped in out of curiosity, and couldn't imagine staying very long, but they certainly had some good music on while I was there.

I'm not sure that I would want to drink in here all night, but it is ok for a few late drinks when all of the pubs have chucked out. There's not much of a draught selection with only Fosters, Stella, Hoegarden and Guinness being available. I think that the majority of people that drink here tend to stick to bottles anyway. It's basically what you would expect from a Camden bar with sofas around all the walls and plenty of standing room around the bar as you queue to get served.

It serves its purpose well and I've been to far worse late license venues.
