Will Larter left this review about The Jolly Colliers

A community local just outside the town centre, with real ales advertised in external notices, but once in the door I found three hand pumps with all the pump clips reversed. (The beers not on were Fullers London Pride, Castle Rock Harvest Pale and Sharps Doom Bar. I had a Guinness.) The interior was festooned with decorations for a forthcoming American festival called Halloween, including two realistic amputated feet on the bar counter and plenty of fake cobwebs. Is this sort of thing thought to be good for business? Also not good for business in my opinion was the annoying TV set with frequent commercials. I couldn't wait to finish my drink and get out of here.

The Jolly Colliers used to be an Ansells tied house.
This is a medium sized pub that is fairly comfortable inside but there were no real ales on here so i had a Guinness.

This is a friendly local which me and my partner use to frequent when she was at Heanor, our favourite pub in this area.
