Steve C left this review about Maggie May's

Maggie May’s is a large bar diner and live music venue that I visited just after lunch on a recent Monday. There is an island bar to the right that faces high tables, benches and cafeteria seating to the left. Between the bar and the floor to ceiling front windows is seating that looks like it can be easily moved to create a dance floor for the stage to the right. In the corner is a photobooth as a warning to not visit here at the weekend. Televisions are located throughout for airing live sport and the background music was very much rock. At the rear is a large diner area where customers are invited to enjoy Maggie’s baps. Being lunchtime I decided this was a good idea and had a burger and chips which was excellent value at less than £7. I think there must have been a lunchtime deal because the burger prices in the menu started at £11. Standard and premium keg is available from the bar. This was a good spot to have some food and do some work whilst waiting for hotel check-in to open, but I wouldn’t come here just for a beer.
