As noted below this is a smaller Spoons and I visited it a few times on my stay in Scotland. It's been well described below but I would add that being all on one level means that the climb to the toilets is just a few steps.
It's an unexciting building but the service was good on all my visits, it was easy to get a seat even at 21:30 on a Friday and they always had a Scottish beer or two available. The food clubs including the Scottish Breakfast are a bit dearer than the norm but it is a city centre pub.
When I came here on the Wednesday only five of the eight hand pumps were going but by Friday all eight were going with no duplicates.
I thought this was a decent Spoons especially for a city centre.

Located, literally, underneath the concourse of Glasgow Queen Street High Level station, this has been known by several names over the years (including, as I remember, “Berlin.”). It opens early for breakfasts and I enjoyed a very reasonably priced Full Scottish (only £3.19) here recently before catching the 08.21 Oban train. It was too early for a pint and I’m not even sure if they were serving drink at that hour, but there was a good range of beers on offer, including a few real ales. The surroundings are very pleasant, however, and the breakfast was excellent.

Next to queen street station an existing bar taken over and refurbished by wetherspoons. The pub features some paintings of the naval battle of camperdown and has an outside seating area.

Me and my friends all aged 20 decided to go here for a quick drink whilst we waited on our train home. On arrival we were greeted by a doorman who asked us all for ID. We gladly shown him our ID's and proceeded into the bar. At the bar I was once again asked for ID when I ordered a rum and coke. Whilst the barman was away obtaining my drink another barman came and asked me for ID, I calmly explained to him that I had just been Id'd and was already being served, to which he responded in the most rude way possible "well I want to see your ID now". After I had been served I rejoined my friends at a table where they informed me that they all had a similar experience at the bar. Barely 5 minutes later another member of staff came over to our table and asked us all to show our ID's again, even the one of us who was drinking soft drink. Safe to say we swiftly left after we finished our drinks.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Camperdown Place (JD Wetherspoon)

Mid-size rectangular bar, set down a few steps from street level. Despite the ugly facade, the interior (with a few booths at one end) is actually a bit less cavernous than most other 'spoons in Glasgow. Also has some patio seating out front, under what one might call (with a bit of imaginative effort) the colonnade. Eight handpumps, offering a reasonable selection of real ales including Houston Warlock (£2.30) from a local micro-brewery.

This quite uninspiring Wetherspoons is situated outside main entrance to Queen Street Station and is a recent addition to the ‘Spoons collection in town having recently been converted from a European themed bar unimaginatively called Europa.

The pub is in a slightly sunken ground floor of an ugly block of high street outlets that form the front end of the station and, despite the signage, I walked past a few times without even realizing it was there as it tended to blend into the background among the other logos and burger joint frontages.

The interior is a large open plan carpeted single room with paneled walls, low ceilings and a lengthy open bar on the side. There is some seating outside overlooking George Square. The décor is standard ‘Spoons as are the product ranges although just 2 guest ales among a more generic selection and my pint (TSA Glencoe) was certainly at the wrong end of fresh (although for ‘Spoons I would acknowledge that this may have been a rare occurrence).

Given its location, it does get busy and the trade would be somewhat transient but it’s probably OK for a quick pint after a hard day’s shopping or sightseeing although there are numerous better Wetherspoons in Glasgow alone if that’s your thing.
