Good solid pub which is popular with the locals. I called in 3 days running and had a decent pint each time. 3 ales on - Three Tun's Best, HPA and Butty Bach. Friendly service. Well worth a visit.

My second visit in as many weeks. Old-fashioned building with flagstone floor and exposed beams. Friendly mixed crowd of locals, people from the wider area and tourists (inevitably). Food looked good but I didn't have time to try it myself. Young and helpful staff. Dogs welcome (even disruptive ones who spill their owner's beer). Good location on the edge of the town centre. Selection of board games available. Beer garden to the rear. Children welcome in the daytime. Upstairs seating for meals. Reasonable beer prices for a tourist hotspot.

The exterior is a nice white rendered corner build, by the bridge, with black paintwork and there is a nice beer garden

The interior is a mix of modern, after a nasty fire had gutted the place a few years back, but with some attempt to have a historic feel that wasn't a fake or twee look. It is open plan around the corner bar, with food seating on the level above. The decor in the bar area is mainly white, with a bit of red, with beams and stone pier supports. As someone who hates the modern look (like the sofa in the extension!) it is done tastefully. Clientele was mixed and the lad behind the bar was friendly and served very well, considering the problems he faced with the beer.

Beer; tap stuff with originally three handpulls, however the Wye Valley HPA was finish, the Butty Bach went while i was ordering and the only one left, Three Tuns XXX was cloudy and on the turn.

Sort the beer out and i think this would be fine, currently however, i wouldn't be rushing back
