Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Albion

The more basic of the two surviving Blue Town pubs that once lined much of the street beside the naval dockyard walls. It has a long, narrow, layout with space for a pool table and live music at the back. The compact, slightly-raised middle section has a fine display of trophies from various local sports teams. The bar area occupies the front half, and the counter has some distinctive decorative panels. Other features include a dartboard and helpful advisory notices such as "Put 10 drops of creosote in a glass of damson gin & vodka for a positive outlook." A few wooden benches can also be found out on the pavement. No real ale, and a limited choice of standard keg offerings, so had a quick Worthington's (£3.80) before moving on.

E TA left this review about The Albion

This Georgian building houses a single long bar, the whole depth of the terrace, with a slightly continental feel. The front door offers a good view of the dockyard wall opposite. There is no real ale, the staff were inefficient while the locals were not particularly welcoming; it was gloomy, dark and loud, and we didn't feel welcome, which is quite unusual for us. I can't see my rushing back..
