Marston’s pub overlooking the picturesque harbour. Done-out in a fairly modern style; plank floor, exposed stone and whitewashed walls. Colourful glass and wood dividers break the front section up a bit. Many dogs in situ. The star is the nice front garden overlooking the harbour. Menu looked like pub grub food but what came out was clearly home-made and not frozen off the back off a lorry; despite the goon who was meant to be floorwalking being useless the girl running the plates saved the show. At the bar were 2x Marstons; 61 Deep (NBSS 2.5, fag end) and Pedigree (3). Oddly, no WiFi despite the secluded location. The most commercialised and least pubby of the three in the village but the food made it worth a stop.

The Castle overlooks a small harbour in Little Haven. It appears to be the more commercialised of the 2 pubs in the village.

Plenty of staff were on hand to serve us when we arrived. There were 3 behind the bar and an eager waitress came straight to our table as soon as we sat down and offered us a menu. I was really surprised that we could just walk in and could dine without a booking, considering how popular the place was.

Alas, we were only there for a drink. Just the 2 ales were on - Marston's 61 Deep & Brain's SA. Having had the 61 Deep in nearby Broad Haven, I plumped for the SA, which was in reasonable nick.

The interior has a number of different sections, creating a cosy drinking/dining environment. However, most people were choosing to sit outside overlooking the beach and harbour.

Not a bad place to try. Although it is second best to the Saint Bride's Inn.

A nice spot for a pub with great views. 2 beers on - Pedigree and Wainwrights. Both were fine. A pleasant enough place to spend an hour!

The Castle has a prime position overlooking the Haven. Only the grassed area and sea wll between the pub and the beach. Food was good quality and reasonably priced. The beers were from the Marston's stable (with the addition of Directors on gravity). The Ringwood Boondoggle was in good form, so I stuck to that on my two visits. Parking can be difficult, but the public car park is free after 6pm.

The Castle is situated on the opposite side of the Little Haven cove to the Swan Inn and although it actually looks like a fairly recent new build it was actually built in January 1871. Nice internal stone walled bar area and there is also a private dining room which can be rented out.
And the outside benches are an excellent spot with great views of Sat Brides Bay as mentioned below.
Although again a Marstons house, there was a Ringwood Ale on as well which was well kept. And the food menu in the Castle is the more traditional pub fare at reasonable prices and the two mains we had were very good.
