Steve C left this review about St. Margarets Tavern

In the front left of St Margarets Tavern is a room that was closed off during my visit on Tuesday evening. Along the left wall is a long bar that supports a standard and premium keg range, as well as two hand pumps that are unused. The bar faces seating in the right hand side of the pub and in the front right is a pool table. Televisions are located throughout for showing live football, but my visit was before the games started so the jukebox played background music to an almost empty pub. I noted that there is plenty of standing room at the bar so I guess it can get busy in here, maybe when the advertised quiz or karaoke are taking place. I found the service to be polite, but there was an extremely drunk guy at the bar so I knocked back my half and left before getting engaged in any uncomfortable mind-numbing conversation. This is a pub I will be leaving to the locals.
