I can honestly say this is the best meal out I have ever had in my 34 years. I love food and i'm nearly always dissapointed when I eat out as usually I could cook better myself. However not this time. Not massive portions, but I prefer quality not quantity. Staff were friendly and efficient and toilets were very clean. Very impressed and will certainly be going back. Top marks.

Excellent food and service, a superb evening out. Review below must have been having a bad day as this venue is one of the best I have ever visited.

Outstanding menu, put together clearly with great care and quality ingredients. Subtly decorated, great, clean toilets and a TV (kept muted during the evenings). You can even ask the kind staff to turn the TV up or off, they were so happy to help.

My friend, who also loves this restaurant lives in Clanfield. I do not, but I will certainly be travelling the 20 miles to visit Pure again.

A great addition to this lovely village.

LOVELY, LOVELY, LOVELY 10 OUT OF 10 and what a find in Clanfield!
This Indian/British fusion Bistro and Wine Bar is very nicely styled with a great atmosphere along with a lovely bar area if you just want a drink.
The food is fantastic and not too expensive with an extensive selection of wines at very reasonable prices.
There are plenty of staff who are very polite, friendly and attentive.
Oh, the 'facilities' are well appointed and extremely clean.
The owner said that he is planning to add even more dishes to his menu to cater to a more diverse palate and I look forward to sampling those in the future.

Probably one of the worst outings ever.Food priced exceptionally high for the portions we recieved. The staff although young and friendly, were obviously lacking co-ordination and training. We had 4 different workers come and ask us in a space of 5 minutes whether the food was to our satisfaction. Although this would have been sufficient once, after the third time of asking, i was lead to believe that something was really wrong with my food!
I was very much disappointed by the price of the food, and the portion for the amount.
The television unnecessarily situated on the restaurant floor was off putting and made it look more like a pub than a wine bar.
The food was very bland and tasteless. I ordered the chicken, and to my surprise, it was under cooked, and served on a dirty plate! very off putting.
After taking one mouthful, i was put off, and needed a drink to wash it down. However, drinks i had ordered ten minutes previous had still not arrived until a good 15 minutes had past. I could understand it being slighly busy, but workers were clearly pre-occupied by their private affairs as we had two young ladies talking about what they had been doing during the morning, than to use their common sense and get our drinks. I was embarrassed overall as i took my friends after noticing the wine bar in the corner of clanfield village and had spoken highly on its outside appearance and decor. I felt myself having to apoligise to my friends for a dismal evening. As the night reached its peak, i thought to myself, 'its nearly over', so went to relieve myself in the ladies, and to my horror, the mirror was thilthy, something that looked like snot on the tiled walls, and water all on the floor, well something that resembled it Who knows. Definatly the worst toilets i have ever come across. A little health and hygiene wouldnt have gone a miss, and if the toilets were this poor, then who knows what condition the kitchen where they prepared our food was like? Overall satisfaction?? well, i can't even rate it. I was not satisfied one little bit. From the food to the inexperienced staff. This place needs much improvement internally. Not good!
