As below, this pub, despite having the trappings of one, is merely a bar for the Model Village next door. This has two bars, one in the room you enter into from the front entrance and another in a larger, second room, accessed via a doorway to the front bar's left which leads onto a large beer garden. The front bar is predominantly wooded floor save for a tiled bar apron and a large rug covered by standard tables.and chairs. An inter-war style stone fireplace accomplices the left-hand wall with a flat screen TV hanging above playing 90s music hits videos. The larger room out back is L-shaped with a larger wooded bar counter and has a University common room feel. There's more seating here along with a pool table and fussball table. Two hand pumps but only one ale on - Hook Norton Hooky (£1.85 for a half). Nothing special, but at least it does operate as a pub, albeit for half the year.

The Old New Inn is open during the summer months (March until September) and is primarily used to feed and water visitors to the model village. Due to this there are restricted opening hours from 11:00 until 17:30.
