Soup Dragon left this review about Clock Inn

A quite interesting corner pub which is in undressed brick, some moulded. It has a rounded corner, low-level extension with pediment, yellow and white paintwork and the upper windows are in early gothic lancet style. Has a patio at the back.

The pub has two rooms; a bar and a lounge served by a central island bar. There were people in the bar watching footy and I could make out a pool table, but other than that I can’t say much about it. I went into the lounge. This is an L-shaped room, with several TVs showing the footy, none of which appeared to be tuned in that well! It is in coffee, with a white ceiling, loud carpet and is pictureless, leaving it looking bare. There is a strange set of beams that cover two areas of seating (like a smoking shelter but indoors – bizarre). The seating is red stools, chairs and perimeter. The room looks neat enough. The service was friendly and there were a number of mixed locals in. There was no music.

Beer; no real ale, all the usual keg stuff with a decent enough Banks’s MILD.

A basic and inoffensive pub. Happy i stopped off, but nothing for the real ale fan.
