Planning application has been approved since 2011 for Conversion and refurbishment of existing public house, including change of use to 6 no. 1-bed and 1 no. 2-bed self-contained flats, and a retail unit. Await the redevelopment to commence.

Currently closed, this pub was always known as the "Long Bar", not to be confused with the pub now named that in Old Market Street.
