Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Dronfield Arms

Excellent Good Beer Guide pub and home to the Temper Brewery. Quite a narrow but elongated layout on three sides of the bar, with a small lounge area at the back (up a couple of steps, and probably also used as a stage?) at the back. Semi-modern furniture and decor throughout, but the feel remains traditional. I found three of their own beers - including the Nectaron (£3.70) - plus Abbeydale's Moonshine available on the four handpumps.

Formerly known as the Old Sidings (yes, it’s close to the station), this is now a free house that has jumped on board the Dronfield real ale revolution. Five ales were available on my visit with an interesting selection. My first half of Nutty Black (the cheap house beer at £2.40) was a bit flat but the follow-up of Magic Rock was exceptionally good. Tasting trays available which is a nice touch. The pub is quite long and narrow with a split level. It has a royal blue and off-white paint colour scheme that seemed a bit stark to me but it still smelled of fresh paint so it’ll take a little while to settle in. Oddly quiet on my visit compared to other pubs nearby, I guess it’s yet to build up a regular trade and it does have some stiff competition nearby. Only a rating of 6 but I'm confident it will score higher when I return.

The Dronfield Arms is a small pub that is fairly close to the train station.
Once inside the pub has got one room divided into two areas the lower area close to the entrance has got a bar but there are no real ale pumps on this bar,if you walk up a couple of steps this takes you into the larger rear area the bar is to the left and there were five real ales on it,the back area is quite long and narrow with bench seating running down the length of the room and on each side of it,the pub has got light bare boards throughout giving it a modern look.
I had a drink of Bradfield Farmers Blonde and this was a very nice drink there was also Thwaites Nutty Black on and three other real ales that i could'nt get the names of as there were people propping the bar up.
The beer was nice here but this is not really the sort of pub that i like.
