Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Green Dragon

Proper village pub right by the church, although I suppose Dronfield is actually a town, but that's how it feels. On the other hand, the marquees covering the front patio seating don't help the initial impressions. Anyway, the multi-room bar and general seating areas were near enough full early on a Friday evening, so this place is obviously serving its market well. Four real ales on handpump: Landlord, Hobgoblin, Abbeydale's Moonshine and an exemplary Bradfield Farmers Blonde (£3.10).

This is a proper old pub in the higher part of the town, what I suppose is the original village surrounding the church. It still has the character of a village pub, with multiple rooms, low beams, nooks and crannies, with changes of level indicating where bits have been added on or put to new use over the years. There's a magnificent stone fireplace with a solid fuel stove. The beer offering is a little mundane, with two from Bradfield plus Theakstons Best and Abbeydale Moonshine. This pub is handy for the station, if you don't mind steep hills.

A pub that’s still in The Past, populated by unwelcoming old soaks on my visit. Two ales at the bar, I had a pitiful half of Black Sheep with Tetley Bitter the other choice. Most of the two-room interior was straight out of the early 70’s, well-worn moleskin-coloured upholstered banquettes etc though the bright red carpet was at least this side of the millennium. The two large arches by the bar made me wonder whether part of the pub was converted from stables and if the roof beams were original or olde worlde fakes. The old leaded windows at the front were a nice touch. A big screen in the lounge area was showing the footy though the picture was 20 seconds out with the accompanying radio commentary - brilliant. Tried to read one of the complimentary papers but the sticky tables didn’t make that easy. The girl behind the bar was friendly (a saving grace from the locals) but I wouldn't go back here on this showing. A shame as there’s potential - the fabric and location of the building are both very nice.

The Green Dragon is a nice looking pub that is just up the hill from the train station.
Once inside i went in the room to the right this room was carpeted and had a cosy feel to it,the bar was to the left and there were two real ales on it i had a drink of Black Sheep bitter and this was a decent drink the other beer was Theakston best.
This is quite a nice pub but i did'nt get to look at it properly as i was talking to some locals.
