Having a bit of time to catch our bus back to Kinoulton we popped into this pub for a quick one. Friendly lady behind the bar had just taking Otter Bitter off, and we chatted to her while she pulled the next beer through. She put Wychwood Hobgoblin on and I must say it was in good condition. The bar room does look a bit basic with a bar billiards table in it which you don't see around much these days. A local came in and we chatted at the bar till time to leave for our bus. Friendly community pub.

The Plough is an estate type looking pub that is in the middle of Keyworth.
This pub has two rooms i went in the room on the left which is the bar the lounge is to the right,the bar was pretty basic and very busy on my visit mid afternoon.
There was only one real ale on here which was Old Speckled Hen this was fairly nice but nothing special.
Not a pub to go out of your way to do but it is very popular with the locals who were quite friendly.
