Strongers . left this review about Rose & Crown
The 17th century Rose and Crown is a set back from the main road by a car park. To the left of the car park are a few covered picnic tables and along the front of the pub is a raised decked seating area. The interior has wooden flooring throughout, but is sectioned into three areas with a dining area to the right, bar in the middle and seating area with log fireplace to the left. There is lots of art for sale on the walls.
The bar supports two handpumps that were drawing Harvey’s Best and Lakedown Spring Ale. There are also six premium keg products. I found the staff to be polite, but I’m not sure I’d go out of my way to revisit just for a beer.
