Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Stables

Pub / restaurant / micro-brewery attached to the Beamish Hall Hotel, with what must be about the most attractive outdoor seating area anywhere in the country. Inside, all three arms of the former stable block are largely laid up for dining, but there is some general seating around the central bar area. There is a decent line-up of their own beers in a range of styles on the six handpumps, from which I went for the Coppy Lane stout (£3.60).

Peter Carr left this review about The Stables Pub & Micro Brewery

The Stables have their own Micro Brewery. I Tested the Beamish Hall and Beamish Burn Part of a range of real ales brewed on site they were excellent. The stables opened in May 2009.
We had a good meal, Good service and great quality ales on our visit.(28/9/09) It could be improved by getting rid of the so called "Back ground music" during day time. On our last visit 2/10/09. The Ales had been destroyed by being cooled below 12 deg. The meal was not to a high standard. Hence lost 2 stars in its rating from 4 to 2.
