Based in Ettington in Stratford-Upon-Avon, we’re an 18th century pub and restaurant serving up hearty food, craft beers, wine and cocktails.
We’re committed to using only the finest, locally sourced ingredients and we celebrate the seasons. The result is a menu bursting with simple, rustic dishes made with love. Our 38-cover restaurant is inviting and charming; the perfect spot for lunch, dinner, or a casual bite at our well-stocked bar.

Easily found in Ettington near Stratford-upon-Avon, The Chequers Inn reopened in March 2008 after a full refurbishment. Whether it is to enjoy a meal or just a quiet drink, the all new Chequers Inn is the ideal place to visit, with its perfect balance of good quality, affordable and delicious food along with a tasty drinks selection, and friendly service.
Whilst the décor is stunning with subtle French undertones and beautiful tapestries, the comfy armchairs and relaxed, pleasant staff give the Chequers that welcoming, homely feel.
