Will Larter left this review about The Horseshoes

A very smart white-painted village pub with white-painted benches in the immaculate garden in front. The pub's elegantly designed name is on the gable end which faces the road, the pub being L-shaped. This pub belongs to Berkeley Inns: "a fast-expanding pub restaurant group based in Derbyshire", which according to Camra bought the pub in 2016. One of the beers available was called Berkeley Bitter, but I didn't ask who produced it. Others available from the four hand pumps were Timothy Taylor Landlord, Marstons Pedigree and Black Sheep Bitter. I went for the Landlord, which was in reasonable condition. There was an open fire next to the bar counter belting out the heat so I went and sat in the garden, with it being a nice sunny day in June and all.
