Alan Winfield left this review about Plough Inn

The Plough is a long narrow pub with a mock tudor upper half, the pub is away from the town centre and is on a very busy road junction.
This pub used to be a Bass tied house and we had a decent drink of Bass here.
On our second visit here the pub seemed pretty much the same with a couple of rooms on different levels,we had a drink in a smartish room that was carpeted, the pub had now been taken over by Kimberley brewery who had by the time of our visit here been taken over by Greene King, there were two real ales on the bar and we had a drink of Kimberley bitter which was no where near as good as the Kimberley brewed one,the other beer was Gk IPA.
