Old Boots left this review about The Hopper Lane Hotel

Large road house modernised a couple of years ago, it sits on the main A59 Harrogate to Skipton road above Fewston reservoir. Double fronted stone built with extentions, the original two front rooms are pleasantly decorated and furnished in eclectic style, beyond to the rear and side are dining areas set out with tables and chairs. Both front rooms have open fires and laminate floors with rugs, the possibly original stone flags remaining by the front door. The right hand room has a kitchen range flanked by leather armchairs beside a low table, otherwise the normal pub mix of furnishing and old photos of the Fewston / Blubberhouses area. The L shaped counter is square on to the front entrance and carries three pulls on each face, Theakstons Best and Black Sheep Bitter of indifferent quality on two of the pulls, nothing on the others. I didn't see any screens or machines, which would be out place here, and the continuous musak was 70s/80s pop. In spite of having a Leeds Postcode it is none the less in North Yorkshire, it is also several miles from Otley.
