Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Fox & Hounds

Large, traditional pub with an unspoilt (if dated) interior. Saloon bar at the front and a lounge / function room to the right. Dark wood-panelling and furniture, and probably very plain-looking when the Christmas decorations come down. Still no real ale, unfortunately, so just a quick John Smith's (£3.70) before moving on.

The Fox& Hounds is a large pub that is a shortish walk from the middle of Dartford.
Once inside there is a decent sized oblong shaped room with the bar facing, the room is carpeted and the seating is bench type and chairs and one leather settee, there is a separate bar room to the rear right which is a long oblong shaped room which looked more basic and had tables and chairs.
There were no real ales on,i had a drink of John Smiths Smooth crap which lived up to its name.
Background music was playing.
A pretty poor pub in my opinion.

Roger Button left this review about The Fox & hounds

A sizable locals pub just off the town centre that seems to revolve around TV footy. The interior has a slightly dated and harsh feel despite the carpets, fireplaces and panelled walls and there is a random selection of pictures, brewery mirrors and notices that seem to have been half heartedly dotted about making it all seem a bit slapdash. The middle bar houses a pool table and contains several football penants whilst at the rear section has a second dart board. It's certainly not the most appealing pub in town but, despite being near a large housing estate, I have never had any problems with the customer base and I usually receive a good welcome and inevitably end up chatting away to the regulars on my occasional visits. 2 hand pumps both badged with Courage Best although the quality is variable. At the very rear of the pub is a small but fairly unattractive beer garden and there is also a large patio area at the front with a few benches. There are far better pubs in town (and far worse) but if you just want a no nonsense locals pub with the usual basics, the Fox & Hounds is perfectly adequate.
