A very smart white painted corner pub with hanging baskets, not far from Alfreton Town's stadium. Inside, there seems to have been a recent refurbishment, though it is still a two roomed pub, with a lounge to the right. On the left the public bar extends into a flat roofed extension at a slightly lower level, and in this room there are pool table and darts board. Outside there is a partly covered yard with bench tables.
On the bar are two hand pumps, one facing each room. Clarks Blonde Bombshell was on one and Flipside On Your Marks on the other. I had the latter, which was too cold but otherwise in reasonable condition. The landlord was very friendly and I wouldn't have any problem with returning here.

The Victoria is away from the centre of Alfreton and it used to be an Ind Coope tied house with no real ale.
This pub looks well kept from the outside but i car'nt comment on the beer or inside has i did'nt go in here when i took this photo.

Nice pub, nik the landlord's a nice guy - always a guest beer on.
