There's no real ale and no sign of food when I visited on Wednesday afternoon. My half of Guinness was actually quite good - at £1.80 for a half.

This is a very basic shop conversion bar. There's a bit of fixed bench seating combined with standard tables and chairs at the front, and a couple of tall tables with tall stools down at the back. It's carpeted, but with a red and black tiled splash area around the counter, and has a few photos on the walls mainly of old local scenes. There are four TV screens, which means in a small place like this you can see one wherever you sit. That's either a good or bad thing, depending on your point of view (no pun!).

It's a characterless shop conversion, but it's clearly popular with some of the local population, as they were doing a reasonable trade. But I think I would prefer to spend my time in the Bohemia, solely because the beer is better - or perhaps more accurately more to my taste.

Sadly this place has gone right down hill. No real ale any more & even the Guinness is not great now. The Staff and service were abysmal the last three visits we done on Sunday evenings we waited 15 minuets trying to get served the last time before walking out. I'm really Not surprising this place seems to spend more time boarded up these days than to does open.

I went in here last night after walking out the spoons. Much better Place found staff very friendly & Polite Also very good customer service. The other customers treat you just like your one of the regulars nice friendly atmosphere which makes a change Excellent Pint of Guinness as well Not sure what other Beers or Ales were on as I was already been on a good session all day. I would definitely visit again next time I'm finchley Its well worth a visit if you prefer to go in a Pub not full of loud mouth Kids & screeching Girls where every other word is sworn out loud. Still has Dart Board Plenty & of TVs showing Sky Sports as well.

Although the name of this pub has recently changed it still retains the Wishing Well Group sign that hangs from the wall outside and from what I can remember from my last visit a couple of years ago it doesn’t seem to have changed at all inside. It is a good size for a shop conversion and I counted five TV screens which were unsurprisingly split between showing Premiership football and horse racing which was being avidly watched by some enthusiastic old Irish boys. There is also a dartboard at the rear of the pub and there is live Irish music advertised for Friday and Saturday nights. The woman behind the bar was very friendly and there was a good atmosphere created by the locals who seemed to be enjoying the demise of ManUre against the Toffees which was the match of the afternoon.

Only standard draught products are available here and much to the annoyance of the locals the Stella and Fosters had run out due to a late delivery, but the Guinness was still on and well served. This place is ideally placed for a quick pint if on the high street and there are far worse pubs in the area to watch football in.
