Large corner pub a short walk from wood green tube station. A central island bar had 4 real ale taps but just 1 on during my visit. The pub has a pool table.

I went in here on a Sunday Evening Recently and found the place was Much better than I thought its recently been refurbished and Its Now Painted Black outside making it look much better & more inviting than the Photos. I also found the place too be Clean & fresh inside which also looks like its been recently decorated a few large TVs were showing sport but being Sunday the place was not too full so I got served Quickly. I found staff very polite But did not see any real Ales on sale mostly Lagers and IPA smooth. I would probably return here if passing.

I'm always a little apprehensive when a pub I enter has one of its TV screens hooked up to the CCTV on full display to the pub. Granted there are plenty more for the football, but I don't understand why they feel the need to broadcast the fact that they are watching you. Is it really that bad in here?

The pub has a central bar and they've gone for some sort of ‘American Sports Bar' feel. Even though the barmaid was very friendly I won't be bothering with this place again.
