I used to visit this place on a regular basis about 5 years ago and could not fault service or food.
In April of this year i took my daughter-in-law and 2 grandsons for a special day out.
my youngest grandsons ribs were cold and oozing fat, they were taken away and reheated and re-served my steak was burnt black on the outside and red raw in the middle. When I complained on the website i was offered 2 free main meals.
Today I took my other grandkids(3 girls all under 10) who all ordered burgers from the kids menu. it took an hour for the food to arrive and was tepid and burnt( how you can do that beats me) my wife and i had the early bird burgers which were also tepid and dry. it took 20 minutes for our waitress to bring our drinks with no apoligy. The table next to us were so hungry they filled up on the free salad bar then refused their main. McDonalds would have been better and I haven't been in one of them for 10 years. DONT! go there if you want any quality for money

This is now a Harvester pub/restaurant. The interior is just like every other Harvester you’ve been in. There is some outside seating at the front, as well as a large garden at the rear. There looked to be a fair amount of car parking space as well. There is no real ale of course, just the usual array of lagers. There may have been a John smith’s tap lurking among the lager fonts (I have seen them before in Harvesters), but if so it remained sufficiently hidden to escape my notice. Hardly worth bothering with as a pub in my view, but OK I suppose if you want a cheap Harvester meal.
