Old Boots left this review about Mariners Arms

Classic back street local with a good local trade, there’s two bars but the right hand one is mainly taken up with a pool table. The left hand bar has banquette seating down the side at cast iron based tables, the counter is plain tongue and groove and there’s two pulls on each side of the servery. Three beers on during my visit, Banks Sunbeam, Ringwood Razorback and Hobgoblin. Plain white walls with old photos, a screen and a dartboard, there’s background music but the hubbub of conversation trumps it. Toilets at rear are obviously formerly outside ones. It’ll probably close and become housing or get raped then closed and turned into housing so catch it soon.

A traditional, two room back street local. A lounge is to the left with blue carpet and fabric perimeter bench seating. Dart board spotted in the more basic public bar. Very quiet but the few locals in were making up for it. Three ales on; Ringwood Bitter, Jennings Bitter and Banks Sunbeam (fair shape). It's decent enough here but no stand-out, though it appears to be a favourite of the local CAMRA branch.

The Mariners is in the back streets and away from the town centre.
This pub had Burtonwood signs outside but there were none of their beers on the bar,the pub seemed quite comfortable inside and was fairly busy with a good mix of customers.
There were three real ales on here i had a drink of Jennings bitter and this was a very nice drink the other beers were Pedigree and Banks's mild.
I thought this was a decent pub and one of the better pubs in Driffield.
