Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Duck Inn

One of those remote, 'can it really still be open?' country pubs, that delights the weary pilgrims who manage to find it. Set in a dry valley SSE of Canterbury, there are trees on the higher land and mostly horse paddocks lower down, all with views from the pleasant beer garden. The building itself has been extended to provide a dining area, with the bar remaining very traditional. No handpumps, but two Old Dairy beers - Red Top (£4.00) and Gold Top - being dispensed by gravity from insulated casks behind the counter. Well worth seeking out.
