An end terraced Georgian styled pub. The building is in white render with some black paintwork. It has typical sash windows, though some have been blocked in the past, with a central entrance.
The interior had a single room that i saw with the bar to the left, although the shape of the room is set at an angle. The decor is white and fake wood beam walls, with some wood panel - there is a worn red carpet at the one end and a wood floor in the games area. The games area has a pool table and dart board. There are a few mirrors on the walls. There was a TV, but this wasn't on at my visit and there was no music. The service was functional and there were a few locals in.
Beer; usual tap stuff with a decent enough Bass on handpull
Perfectly happy to pop in for one. It is a general enough place really for a real ale drinker, but does have the pub games.
