The Wargrave Hacienda is a Mexican themed cantina that is run by an authentic Mexican chef who, according to the website, also has a chain of family restaurants in central Mexico. The bar area to the left has a serving counter on the rear wall that supports standard keg. Banquette seating runs across the front and right-hand windows and to the right front of the entrance is a small seating area with dartboard. The walls are adorned with Latin murals and lots of skeletal Day of the Dead art. There is also lots of football memorabilia, from most Premier League clubs. This pub certainly makes the point that it is completely neutral, so no fighting when football is shown on the televisions throughout. In the right rear is a food serving counter and a few seats for eating the Mexican street food. Out the back is a large beer garden with patio and grass covered area with picnic tables dotted about. It was quiet during my recent Tuesday visit with a few locals trades in having a beer after work, it certainly didn’t feel like a restaurant. I’d visit here again to try the food, but I wouldn’t go out of my way just for a beer.

Out of town pub. Looks a bit untidy from outside but its riendly enough.
