A nice enough canalside pub. Just outside Chorley's town centre remit this is a fairly pleasant pub. Not too bad an interior with the place being wide and thin with a raised area to the far right. Outside seating front and a car park canalside. 3 handpulls on the bar with 2 for Marston's beers and the other a real cider. Pub grub also available but thankfully the tables arnt cluttered with menus.

First visit after the reopen last year on a wet and windy January night. Pub quiz on the go upon my arrival with all the regulars very keen to do well. Nice atmosphere. As I was driving didnt take much notice of the beer but the orange juice was very nice. Will have to go back in the summer when walking the canal one evening.Only a five as was a brief visit. Dont let this put anyone off as its a neutral score. No dislikes but no time to form any strong positives.But suspect I would.
