David Ross left this review about The Auld Smiddy Inn

A very attractive old cottage building, this has the look of a traditional pub, although, judging by the clientele on my Friday night visit, it seems to be mainly food orientated. There were only around ten customers and the atmosphere was rather sedate. There is a small outdoor seating area in a courtyard at the side. A pint of Belhaven IPA from a hand pump cost me £3.90. Belhaven 80 Shilling is also served from a hand pump and Guinness, Belhaven Best, Tennent's lager, Auld Smiddy lager (presumably the house lager) and Strongbow cider are also on draught.
