Moby Duck left this review about The North End Tavern

A standard town pub effort with little to recommend it,a single room wrapped around a horseshoe shaped bar, the decor is generally plain, cream walls and ceiling,mid-brown woodwork on the bar itself and red patterned carpet throughout. there are several TV screens for sport, some fruit machines and a dart board. There is a basic pub grub menu.
On the bar are four hand pumps, two on either side, the two most obvious as walk in the main door were redundant and unclipped leaving the remaining two with an uninspiring choice of Greene King IPA and Youngs Bitter,I had half a Stella despite being a real ale drinker. There is a beer garden and a car park.
I found nothing of particular note to this pub and are unlikely to re-visit.

This pub has gone downhill since the new management have taken over. Ordered food, and it come out lukewarm at best. had to ask where the gravy was (even though this was supposed to come with the meal) Not one member of bar staff came to ask the obligatory "is everything ok with your meal?" Very disappointed and will not go back. Will go to the HG wells where the food is good and the staff make you feel welcome

Old Blue left this review about The North End Tavern

A pretty standard downmarket pubco establishment as others have described, which on my recent Sunday evening visit was quite busy. Service was however fairly efficient, and the ale range from two pairs of handpulls offered GK IPA, Doombar, and Youngs Ordinary (twice), a pretty mediocre pint of which I had. Sky Sports was available, with football showing on several screens including a big one in the area to the front right, and a dartboard and games machines. A board outside advertised two meals for £8. I’d probably come in here again if I found myself outside, but wouldn’t go out of my way to do so.

Routine suburban boozer currently operated by Stonegate and well described by the reviews below. Popular with a wide mix of people, perhaps not surprising given the steady depletion of pubs in the area. Usual down-market freezer to microwave menu if you like that sort of thing, and nice TT Landlord cheerfully served. Decent enough pub for the locals, but there's no real reason to seek it out.

This is a single room pub with a central squint ended horseshoe bar, the carpeted room wrapping around either side. Mostly standard seating, but there is one modern high table plus another at the rear right I suspect may be an unusual original feature, having footrests and what looks like a walnut surround. Apart from this, this is a pretty regular pubco offering, various daily meal deals plus drinks on offer through the week, several TVs showing the football, two sets of a pair of pumps offering Doom Bar and Youngs Bitter (£2.85) reasonable value. There is a slightly raised area to the front left, then a dartboard (with trophies on a shelf), a couple of fruit machines, cash machine and a less often seen pinball table. To the rear, the lobby opens out to a paved outdoor area.
A sign caught my eye, advertising a cask ale festival from 5th April till 7th May with all cask ales at £1.99, which isn't to be sniffed at. Whether it is to be a real festival with a selection offered is another question, unanswered on the poster or the pub website.

This looks to be a fairly unremarkable obviously pubco pub on the edges of Worcester Park. It had the usual roster of games machines, cash dispenser and one-armed bandits, TV screens (but switched off at Friday lunchtime). But it was clean and tidy when I was in there. Plus post-budget prices of Young’s Bitter and London Pride at £2.09 and £2.55 a pint respectively is pretty good. Not quite down to Wetherspoon’s price levels, but good nonetheless. This pub is clean and comfortable and OK for a pint if you happen to be in the area, but nothing special enough to warrant making an effort to find.
