Rex Rattus left this review about O'Neill's

I don't normally bother with O'Neill's bars, but the sight of three handpumps on the bar drew me in to this one. Two pumps were clipped with London Pride and Doom Bar; the third had a Pride clip reversed. Nothing very exciting, but acceptable. Unfortunately the Doom Bar came up cloudy (and rank)but to give her credit the barmaid spotted the deficiency and exchanged it for Pride. And she gave me a taster of the Smithwick's Irish ale, which is a nice touch.

The pub itself is obviously nothing special being a shop conversion, and typical of the brand. It's a long, thin, single-room affair with the bar counter on the right. There's some Irish themed decor on the walls, and a mix of furnishings - backless benches, tall tables/tall stools, armchairs and even some normal tables and chairs. There is certainly an inprovement as a result of the introduction of real ale, but this is not somewhere to put on your list of "must visit" pubs.
