Old Boots left this review about The Bay Horse

A typical sort of village pub, a modernised but retaining low beams. It's carpeted and traditionally furnished, there are big screens and machines, the walls are white with a lot of pictures. Three handpumps on the central severy with John Smiths, Leeds Pale and Purity Gold on sale, a bit cold but drinkable if not out standing, keg choice was the national standards. A bit dull really.

The Bay Horse is a stone built pub that is just uphill from the Old Star pub.
Once inside there is a single L shaped room with the bar facing, the room is carpeted, the seating is comfy bench type and small stools, there is a pool table to the rear left.
There were three real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Leeds Pale which went down well, the other real ales were Copper Dragon Golden Pippin and John Smiths Cask.
There was a TV which was showing rugby.
I found this to be a decent pub to have drink in.
