Malden man below has it about right, a pretty basic set up as described below complete with tartan carpet. Only Courage best was available on my visit and this was served way to cold.I feel a lot more could be made of this pub,but it isn't.

This is a pretty basic pub with a feeling that you may have time travelled back to the 1970s. There is a tartan carpet, red banquettes and stools at black painted tables, a copper beaten hood over the now closed off fireplace, fake black timber beams and wall studs with white roughcast plasterwork and a dartboard with a white tyre surround. The bar front is also black painted woodwork with the counter being tiled red. I'm sure that there is no sense of irony intended in naming the toilets "Bouys" and "Gulls".
The long bar is directly opposite on entering, a series of solitary old boys were sat silently on stools sipping their drinks, without conversation, TV news was muted while Magic FM, complete with advertisements played a dismal selection of long forgotten tunes.
A side room looked to be optimistically intended for diners while at the other end, beyond the dartboard, there is a pool table.
Two handpumps offering an uninspiring choice of Doom Bar and Courage Best. In all fairness my half of Best was fine (£1.70).
I believe there is a garden to the rear although I didn't look, a few tables to the front face Hersham Green across the roundabout.
The pub clearly serves a purpose and good luck to it for that but don't venture in here if you feel in need of cheering up.

Watermans Arms, Hersham Green - what a nice little pub! Staff were welcoming, and locals engaged us in conversation, mainly about the floods in & around the area! I bet its lovely here, over-looking the green with the sun beating down! Marvelous. Can't w8 till summer. (They serve a nice filter coffee, if needs must :o)

Quite a big pub on a corner opposite the green in the middle of Hersham. You enter on to the main bar in the middle of the pub, to the left there is another room or two which appears to be more intended for dining, and to the right there is another area with a pool table and two dartboards. There are some picnic benches at the front, and the pool/darts area has another door to a partially covered back yard with some tables, presumably functioning more as a smoking area than a beer garden.

As at this Sunday it had two handpumps, rather uninterestingly serving Bombardier (in fairness, my pint was rather better than most I've had of these) and Courage Best, and a fairly usual selection of other drinks. The clientele seemed largely to be retired males, having a summer afternoon pint. It advertises Sunday roasts served 1-5pm at £6.99 (we didn't eat though). Also advertises a regular Wednesday night jazz band, on posters which look like they've been there some time.

This struck me as basically an honest local which serves the purposes of its immediate customers, but lacks anything to draw a wider clientele. I wouldn't object to coming here again for a pint, but wouldn't make an effort to do so either.

Large-ish pub in centre of village, slightly noisier than some of the others and a little rough round the edges.
